What is inteblue policy regarding Animal Welfare?

The inteblue Animal Welfare Policy applies to all products sold through any of inteblue’s websites, including inteblue, Brands, Outlet and Marketplace traders.

Suppliers of inteblue are not allowed to use any animal which can be harmful for those as well as nature. Rather than they source certain types of animal by-product from good animal husbandry.

For Environment

inteblue acts actively to reduce energy consumption. One of the focus of inteblue is to use energy more efficiently to reduce its environmental impact.

  • We, the inteblue acts responsibly to reduce energy consumption and to use energy more efficiently to reduce its environmental impact. We monitor and report on all wastage.
  • We recycle all of the cardboard, paper and plastic waste from our warehouse.
  • To prepare outer plastic packaging and swing tickets we use recycle materials.
  • Solar panels are to be installed in one of the recently acquired head office buildings with a view to rolling this out across the various sites.
  • We’ve installed energy efficient storage heaters in our offices unconnected to the wet system.
  • Recycled materials which are used in our head office we regularly replace lighting with efficient motion-activated LED panels, whilst in our warehouse and certain areas of the head office, lighting is activated by motion sensors.
  • Solar panels are to be installed in one of the recently acquired head office buildings with a view to rolling this out across the various sites.
  • We’ve installed energy efficient storage heaters in our offices unconnected to the wet system.

For Compliance

inteblue requires verification from suppliers of compliance and accepted forms of verification include:

  • Before any submission of any goods which will be shipped or delivered inteblue ensures it by verification.
  • Raw materials and trimmings used by suppliers need certification from us.
  • Declarations verified by independent audit
  • Independent testing is done for each products.

inteblue expect our suppliers to comply with all relevant laws and regulations regarding the protection and preservation of the environment and as such all factories and raw material suppliers must adhere to the company Restricted Substances Policy, and all materials, components and finished products must comply with:

  • International law on the restriction of hazardous substances
  • The European Chemical Agency (ECHA) Restricted Substances List
  • All suppliers should ensure that the appropriate verification is submitted to us before goods are handed over.

Code of Conduct followed by suppliers:

  • Harsh or inhumane treatment is prohibited: All types of physical, sexual and verbal abuse or discipline, the threat of any types of harassment and other forms of intimidation shall be prohibited.
  • Suppliers must comply with local laws: iteblue make vigilance on its suppliers to be in full compliance with the laws and regulations of the countries in which they operate.
  • Minimum wages must be paid: suppliers of inteblue must follow wages and benefits for a standard working week with relevant minimum wage standard.
  • Employment is freely chosen: There must be no forced, bonded or involuntary prison labor. Workers should be free to leave their employer after a reasonable notice period.
  • Child labor shall not be used: Child labor is completely prohibited and have sufficient policies in place in relation to slavery and human trafficking.
  • There should be no discrimination in the work place: There must not be discrimination on the basis of race, national origin, religion, age, disability, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, union membership or political affiliation and these are strongly prohibited.
  • Environment protection: To protect and preserve the environment suppliers must comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Hygienic and safe working environment: Working environment must be safe and hygienic bearing in mind prevailing knowledge of the industry and of any specific hazards. Necessary steps shall be taken to prevent accidents and injury occurring in the course of work.
  • Working hours must be proper: Working hours must comply with national laws and benchmark industry standards, whichever affords greater protection.
  • The supplier will conduct itself with proper business integrity: inteblue doesn’t allow any illegal transaction, improper advantage including the payment of bribes, to secure delivery of goods or services.

Social Activities

  • 25% of all fibers used inteblue Brands come from sustainable sources.
  • An e-commerce brand to sign a labor rights agreement with global trade union.
  • Cashmere, mohair, feathers, down silk, bone, teeth, horn and shell to be banned from our websites
  • Donating fund to school to educate poor and backward student.
  • Creating a unit to employ physical disabled person.
  • Regular launching of Tree plantation program to reduce Carbon-di-oxide to save our nature and have a target to plant 1 million new tree on next 1 year.
